Amazing hotel, super clean, thought of every single details. The receptionist Ach is great guy helped me either quick check in, bags and made sure we feel welcome and comfortable. Very high level of service - beyond what we expect in US.

She told me I had to go to front desk to get ice. I thanked her and limped away. I took 2 steps and the maid who answered my question offer to get the ice for me. I wanted to cry because I knew I could not walk that far and she realized this. There truly are nice people still in bay area. Made my trip because I used the ice for 3 days. Wish I got her name. I looked for as I wanted to tip her

Welcome to The Cottages Hotel Welcome to The Cottages, a serene yet lively boutique lodging experience in the heart of Menlo Park. The staff were warm, welcoming and made me feel like I was a treasured guest. The breakfast was a delicious combination of options from fruit, to porridge to omelette and more. They connected me to a local bike shop, just one block away and then spent a day exploring the area. The hotel is well located and visiting the Stanford University grounds was special.
