Got downstairs for breakfast at 9:30 and no eggs or sausge, bacon or potatoes left. I requsted eggs but were told they ran out. Very dissapoitned as as Im on a very low carb diet. The lodge was amazing. The owners were really helpful, told us about an amazing swimming spot near by which was great fun. Property had everything you needed. Really relaxed atmosphere and a lovely continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Roomy bedroom, relatively large bathroom, very up to date bathroom fixtures, including good shower with glass opening — not a shower curtain, good firm beds. Clean. Seemed very new. We preferred it to most of the other places we stayed including 2 Relais & Chateau that we’re tiny, old and not clean.
