I think he really takes delight in helping people and waking up to a cheerful man adds that special magic. The reception staff are also A++++

Situated near Glennallen on the shores of Lake Louise, Lake Louise Lodge, Alaska features free WiFi, and a children's playground. Guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. Windy was a great host. The location sitting on the edge of the lake, which was frozen at the time, was spectacular. The log cabin construction and fitting out of the internal bar/dining area was just what you would expect from an Alaskan Lodge. The fire pit under the never setting sun was a great experience. We should have stayed longer.

John even prepared the 2 eggs over EZ, buttered toast and bacon I requested 😋 My “hosts”, John and Betty were very accommodating and easy going conversationalists. The location was central to the places I visited during my short stay. I liked the choice of “munchies” like nuts, chocolates and snack bars located just inside the entrance door! I didn’t take many pictures but, chose to share 2 of them here. All in all, my 3 days of “down time” exceeded my expectations! And meeting their other (furry baby) family member, Pixel was a pleasant surprise.
