We also used Walmart for our picnic lunches to take into Yellowstone. Chief Joseph highway totally awesome drive, just a shame that Bear Tooth was closed for winter whilst we were there. This Cody hotel is 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. It offers free WiFi in public areas and an indoor pool. Every guest suite at The Cody features a microwave and refrigerator. Very nice Western style hotel close to the east entrance of Yellowstone NP. Buffalo Bill Center of the West and the Wild Bunch show are a must. Hotel-Staff is super helpful and polite.

The lobby lounging area is beautiful and cozy and they keep the fireplace going nice and strong. They have board and card games available for families to play in the lobby, Each floor had a complimentary station that was stocked with different types of trail mix, chips, sparkling water, drinking water, energy bars, and coffee all free of charge and unlimited self serve. A homemade ice cream shop was across the street and it was phenomenal.
