The room was spacious enough that I sometimes preferred staying in rather than going out. The personal care products provided, such as shampoo and body wash, felt luxurious and had a pleasant fragrance.

This was the perfect stay in Cat Ba. It was a very short 5 minute walk to the center but was in a quiet street away from the noise. The rooms were very quiet and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Jenny was absolutely amazing. One of the kindest and most helpful hosts I’ve met in Vietnam. She booked an overnight cruise in Lan Ha bay for me as well as a half day trip to Cat Ba National park. If you are in cat ba I highly recommend this place!!

Friendly and helpful host with great English as well. It’s a bit out of town but it’s well worth it for its “country side” ambience. It’s also only 15 min scooter ride in to town and 6 min to Cat Ba National Park. My partner and I had a private room and it was very spacious and came with its own bathroom.

The staff is amazing. From the first moment I felt so welcomed. If I had any questions they would know the answers or help me to the right tools. The hostel itself is very modern (it just openend) and clean. The beds are good and the toilets and shower are nice (and seperated from eachother). In the evening they have a happy hour when you get free beer at the pool bar. We had lots of fun! I only booked one night but that quickly became two because I had a great time ☺️

We had such a great stay at Mountain Pearl that we decided to extend our stay and stayed there for a week. From our arrival the managers of the hotel were very nice and helpful and always helped us with any requests we had. We switched rooms in the beginning and they were very accommodating with us. They helped us to arrange a tour of Lan Ha bay, had motorbikes for rent whenever we needed, and even arranged our bus travel to another city when we were ready to leave. The room was excellent, very spacious and perfectly clean, with lots of natural light, and with its own little balcony. The room had a tea kettle, a desk with a chair, and table lamps. We especially loved that the room lights at Mountain Pearl had different settings and could change from white to yellow—this is the first time we experienced this at a hotel because we usually struggle with the bright white lights at other places. So great! Over all, we had a great and restful stay at Mountain Pearl. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Cat Ba.
