Jan Harmsgat Country House is set in a historic 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by the Langeberg Mountains and the Breede River. Amazing country house. The bedroom was so beautiful and cozy. The staff was also very nice and the food was delicious.

Just 1.1 miles from Drostdy Museum and a 18-minute walk from NG Church Swellendam, Dolittle Cottages features accommodations in Swellendam, with barbecue facilities. We were just driving through and needed a place to stay. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. The unit is fully equipped nice kitchen, braai and the rooms are comfy with a backup generator. As a bonus (if you like animals) there were donkeys sheep and chickens to hang out with. Would stay there again anytime.
