Located 68 km from the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park, Moya Safari Lodge & Villa features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. The location & style of the accommodation were perfect and so romantic. Nyarai and the staff were nice and gentle! Our stay was so great we wouldn’t leave and will come back for sure as soon as we can. The cuisine on offer at Moya is so delicate and sophisticated, with a chef and his assistant who take the time to explain everything and lead the way with brio! We enjoyed every moment of it. Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, where the Moya is, is really safe and you can see many animals 🤩 Thank you Nyarai and the team! You rock 🤩

We have always wanted to visit the northernmost part of the Kruger to see how it compares to the rest of the park. The Outpost is situated on a hill overlooking the Luvuvhu River and the view from our room was breath-taking. The contemporary open plan rooms have retractable remote-controlled blinds, that offer uninterrupted views of the river when open. It was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience to sleep with no walls between you and the wilderness. On the second night, we were treated to elephants trumpeting just outside our room! The lodge is situated in a private concession. The staff mainly consists of members of the Makuleke tribe. We were treated like royalty and no effort was spared to make our stay a memorable one. It is evident that the staff are extremely well trained, but also that they love what they do. Our room was immaculately clean, the food was 5-star and wherever we went, we were greeted with friendly smiles. The fauna, flora and vistas in this part of the Kruger is by far the most impressive of the whole park. We were fortunate enough to visit both the Lanner Gorge and the Fever Forest on game drives. This is not the area of the Kruger you should go to if you want to see the big five, as you probably won’t, but that said, there is still a decent amount of wildlife to see. We saw elephant, zebra, nyala, impala, baboons, kudu and hippo.

The experience of sleeping in an airplane was absolutely amazing. I liked that we got to take a tour and explore the plane. The breakfast was amazing.

Situated in Phalaborwa, 26 km from Phalaborwa Gate, Abelana River Lodge features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. We had the most incredible 3 nights at Abelana celebrating our honeymoon and my 30th birthday, which was made even more memorable due to the fantastic staff, delicious food and beautiful lodge & facilities. Wern and Mr T were our personal (and private!) guides for all our drives who were both incredibly knowledgable and made sure that every drive was a completely different experience, from seeing 4 of the big 5 throughout the duration of our stay, to finding the best spots on the reserve for morning coffee and G&T sundowners. We even experienced a bush walk with the lions and managed to see the incredible views from the south of the reserve, including the ancient baobab trees and a rare leopard on our way! The staff were friendly and hospitable, always making sure we had a drink in hand when we were relaxing by the pool. We were even lucky enough to spot a couple of elephants cooling off in the river as we were sat poolside on not only one but three separate occasions! Every meal and cocktail was 10/10 - not to mention the amazing birthday braai and cake the staff arranged for my 30th birthday. The rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious and private whilst offering perfect views of the river. Couldn't recommend it enough and will be encouraging friends & family to visit!

Situated within the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge features a viewing deck, lounge and splash pool overlooking the Klaserie River. Had a fantastic stay with my brother for 4 nights. The staff was amazing and the game drives were fantastic. really loved the camp and would highly recommend

Situated in Hoedspruit, within 22 km of Kinyonga Reptile Centre and 47 km of Lissataba Private Game Reserve, Rafiki Bush Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, and... Super nice and family oriented spot. Loved the impeccable spaces and cozy feel of just 4 rooms. Maria and team truly make you feel like you're staying at a (very nice) friends house aka Rafiki.
