The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

A very nice hotel in an elegant building. We enjoyed much relaxing time at the pool. The staff was super friendly and always available. For breakfast, one could use the little cafe that belongs to the hotel. All perfect!

This place is a step back in time and is amazing. The owners are the some of the nicest people you can ever hope to meet. I arrived on a Sunday during a motorcycle trip through Cape and had managed to get a puncture. It didnt take long for the owner to have the bike in their own workshop wheel off and on it way to being repaired. The hotel is actively involved in the motorcycle scene in the area was soon introduced to other who came to chat Motorcycle travel. What an awesome evening and a great sleep.

Located 500 metres from Swartberg Pass, Swartberg Pass Cottages is set in Matjiesrivier and features barbecue facilities and a garden. The Cango Caves are within 13 km of the property. Absolutely everything was perfect. A little gem! We ordered a braaipack in advance. It contained so much more than expected. In addition to the meat, there was roosterkoek, jam, salad, pumpkin fritters and more. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had every utensil we needed and fresh drinkwater was supplied. The Swartberg Mountains around us were breathtaking. We loved our stay. It was booked for a stay-over location close to the Cango Caves but we will be back for a longer stay at some stage to explore the area further.

Oudtshoorn Inn Hotel is located in the heart of Oudtshoorn, 2.5 kilometres from the Cango Wildlife Ranch. It boasts a lush garden and outdoor swimming pool. Very nice and convenient. All the employees were nice and friendly. I will be back again and I will tell my friends 🧡!
