The hosts were great, then invited us to join hem for a glass of wine after we had settled in and they also offered us dinner, which was delicious. The lady of the house also brought us some fresh laid eggs ans dome vegetables from their garden, which I turned into 2 delicious omlettes. We were not charged for any of the extras that we received.

The gardens are peaceful and the rooms were clean and decorated in an old Cape, vintage style. We stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area. Portia took excellent care of us. The breakfasts were exceptional. A comfortable bed. Lots of space in the room and an old fashioned tub for a soak. Checkin was easy, Portia was very helpful throughout our stay.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountains, PicardiPlace is situated on a working farm, near the quaint village of Rawsonville. We had a warm welcome from Jaco the owner, called us in the morning to ask if he can fire up the hot tub outside. Room was clean, comfortable, inviting and had a lot of charm. Additional effort to make it special. Definitely value for money. Beautiful location with awesome views. Thank you Jaco for your warm hospitality, we will see you again in future
