Oh my goodness this little place is the most beautiful place we have ever been to. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, everything was perfect. The amazing reception we got on arrival - the best... these two gentlemen were so friendly and very helpful. The room was stunning and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was beautiful clean and warm. The staff were top notch and our waitress was pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Complements to the Chef for an outstanding meal, well presented and my chops cooked to perfection. We will definitely visit again and we have already told our friends of a must stay at Karoo 1 Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve is a recently renovated apartment in Touwsrivier, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. I booked a 3 night stay at De Kuilen Nature Reserve to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. What a memorable stay and celebration. The weather wasn't great which made our stay even better. The Springbok House has a cozy fire place that warms up the entire place. Don't bother packing anything, the house was fully equipped - right down to a Potjie pot. If I can give you one tip, follow Matimba's directions to the T. We got a bit lost (entirely our own fault) but superhero Matimba checked in with us multiple times and guided us back on track. I have never had such a friendly and relieved face greet me! Down to Matimba. This man plays so many roles, Reserve Manager, Ranger, Host, Guide, Photographer and the list goes on. We had the honor of going on a game drive with Matimba - what a Blessed drive! To see the love and passion for wildlife in Matimba's eyes is truly something special. I strongly believe Matimba's compassion, warmth and friendly welcome made our stay worth more than words can explain. Well done to you Sir Matimba!

Located within 46 km of Boschenmeer Golf Course and 24 km of Fonteintjiesberg Nature Reserve, Opstal Stay provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Rawsonville. Unbelievable views over the mountain, wood fired hot tub and outdoor shower were fantastic. Couldn’t recommend enough!

This is a very cute traditional Cape building divided into suites. The gardens are peaceful and the rooms were clean and decorated in an old Cape, vintage style. We stayed for two nights for a wedding in the area. Portia took excellent care of us. The breakfasts were exceptional. A comfortable bed. Lots of space in the room and an old fashioned tub for a soak. Checkin was easy, Portia was very helpful throughout our stay.

Offering a terrace and views of the mountains, PicardiPlace is situated on a working farm, near the quaint village of Rawsonville. We had a warm welcome from Jaco the owner, called us in the morning to ask if he can fire up the hot tub outside. Room was clean, comfortable, inviting and had a lot of charm. Additional effort to make it special. Definitely value for money. Beautiful location with awesome views. Thank you Jaco for your warm hospitality, we will see you again in future
