This place is incredible. It's literally a treehouse but with all amenities: shower, toilets, comfy and large bed equipped even with a mosquito net. The roof is made traditionally (sort of leaves of some plants / trees) and they have thought at practically all details to make the decor harmonious. Due to the proximity to the sea (at most 10 meters), it was never too hot. But it's "noisy" with the waves. The waves are monotone and my partner didn't have problems to sleep, for me I needed earplugs. It's not really a complaint, but a consideration. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast served at the hotel was really good. They also have a very good restaurant for lunch / dinner The beach is virtually private: the area is gated so the beach is shared only by the guests of this hotel and of the other (small) hotels nearby. We have never seen more than a handful of people sharing the whole beach. Also quality wise, it's ranking within the best beach we've seen in DR, and clearly ahead of the ones in Cabarete / Sosua.

I have been to many resorts and the food is always terrible, but Iberostar Costa Dorada has the best of the best. The beds are comfortable. All the staff members are great from the beginning to the end of your stay. The pool, the beach and activities are great. Santo at the buffet makes you and your family feel at home and cared and Peter at check in(front desk) makes you feel welcomed and treats you with respect.

I love the open space in the house . Really organized and comfortable. The security they have. The pool was amazing and the restaurants. The staff were great Masiel , Anyolina and Osiris were excellent staff.

Situated in San Felipe de Puerto Plata, 2 km from Fortaleza San Felipe, Senator Puerto Plata features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Love the resort small but well organised!!! The private beach was beautiful , great food and entertainment very good !!!

Just like in the pictures. Everything was so clean. Hot water showers and cozy bedroom. The crew was caring and warming. The food also excelente.
