Wake up to the sounds of the jungle and running rivers at Fern Resort Mae Hong Son. This nature resort features traditional Shan tribe bungalows and an outdoor pool. Stunningly beautiful grounds and two pools. I loved taking a great 8k hike right from the property (take water and food!). We both had fantastic massages. Food and other guests are very Northern European but tasty. Did I say beautiful grounds? That!

Situated along the banks of Pai River, within tropical gardens, Pai Village Boutique Resort provides rustic wooden cottages. It was the best boutique resort I have ever been to, I don’t know where to start. First of all the comfortable beds and pillows that I had the best sleep of my life. They were like marshmallow and I didn’t want to leave them. Secondly, room had a great space, every corner was beautifully decorated, bathroom was immaculately clean. They had welcoming fruit and flowers on our bed. The housekeeping left cookies everyday. Staff was absolutely amazing, they always had a genuine smile and they were always trying to be helpful. You can feel that they work like members of a family and they make you feel like you are home. Special thanks to the amazing breakfast bentos they prepared for us because we were checking out early in the morning. I just asked for a sandwich but of course they went beyond and prepared a fruit box for each of us. Boiled eggs, juices and milk packs etc. we couldn’t even finish them :(

The cabins were amazing, we really loved the balcony and hammock. The breakfast was great as well, you can choose from different dishes and they will be freshly prepared.

Offering guests an experience in beautifully-furnished, individual Thai-style garden bungalows. The owner is very warm and helpful. She drove us to and from the bus station in Pai and provided a detailed map of all the attractions and best restaurants. Breakfast is included and delicious! Nestled between beautiful landscaping and overlooking a quiet pond is a great way to start every morning. The beds are comfortable and each unit has AC and hot showers.

Best view in town in a super chill cafe/restaurant. It was a really peaceful stay, we enjoyed since first minute there. Lovely service, delicious coffee, nice and clean room, you wake up with the sound of nature. The room was fresh at night perfect to sleep with the fan and the window open with the mosquito net (may 2024)
