Everything was impeccable and the rooms were so comfortable. My favourite naturally was the onsen with it's bamboo materials and lovely pools. It's within walking distance to Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens, Odori Park and the Sapporo TV Tower...Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

We stayed there for two nights and it was a very satisfying and pleasant experience. All aspects, including the staff, the room facilities, the breakfasts and dinners, the environment and the location, are all excellent! It will be a good choice if you want to experience the vibe and services of a traditional Japanese onsen hotel when visiting Hokkaido!

Boasting open-air hot spring baths and ocean views, Wakamatsu Hot Spring Resort is a 15-minute drive from JR Hakodate Station. Free parking is available on site. Magical place. Exceptional service and hospitality from staff. The onsens were relaxing and beautiful. We loved the private bath to enjoy as a family. The room was immaculate and the view amazing. 10 out of 10!

Accessible en 5 minutes de navette gratuite depuis la gare d'Asahikawa, le Mimatsuso Ryokan propose des hébergements abordables de style japonais. L'emplacement était niquel, tout était très propre et le petit dej était typique, simple mais très bon. Les propriétaires ont été adorables, ils m'ont raccompagnée à la gare le lendemain car j'étais assez chargée, et ils m'ont même offert un petit cadeau en remerciement, avec des petits origamis vraiment trop mignon ! Un très bon souvenir.

The room - including the incredible view and en suite onsen - was absolutely incredible and perfect for me and my teenage daughters. But the food… for me, that was the highlight. The breakfast and dinner included in our stay was out of this world and a beautiful way to experience Hokkaido — our first time there. The service was fantastic, start to finish — we always felt welcome and cared for. I read about this hotel in The NY Times, and it delivered, 100 percent. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Awesome ryokan, excellent service, beautiful and relaxing hot springs, especially outdoor one by the river. Men and women's hot spring sides swap everyday so its like two hotsprings in one. Unlimited alcohol in afternoon, unlimited drinks, dinner and breakfast delivered to room.

L'Oyado Kinkiyu Annex SUIKAZURA est un hébergement 3 étoiles situé à Teshikaga, à 11 km du lac Kussharo et à 13 km du lac Mashu. Plenty of free parking. The socializing room with free drinks and free snacks is very nice. The Onsen is also much appreciated. There was even an easy to use printer to allow me to easily handle some business.
