Nice hotel with very friendly staff, they even offer a free bike rental. Bikes are not well maintained, however, they work all right.
The Antica Perla overlooks Lido Cannatello sandy beach, just 10 metres away, around 7 km from the Valley of Temples, one of the most enchanting archaeological sites in the world.

Manager and staff were incredibly helpful when we had trouble with our hire car even taking us into Agrigento ( about 5 miles) to arrange a replacement.
Breakfast was good and pool excellent.

We had a lovely but short stay in Villa Salvatore. Antonio welcomed us, provided safe parking, and made restaurant reservations for us. The apartment had all we could want, with its own terrace. Accommodation is in a quiet area. Sorry I didn't have time to swim in the beautiful pool. Breakfast was cooked for us which we enjoyed, including the homemade marmalade.

Don't go in early August as it is too crowded.
Don't go in early August as it is too crowded. I've been to Italy many times, but the quality of the food was disappointing in this part of Sicily. Surprisingly, as I have always found Italians to be lovely and polite people, this is the first time we found consistently rude and impatient people. I have always heard great things about Sicily, but probably won't return because of this experience.

Not really much to do in San Leone, typical beach/shore town where the people from the nearby main town (Agrigent) go. It's right next to the Valley of the Temples, and if you are in the area it is much nicer to stay here than in Agrigent since you are on the shore. The town was clean (which is saying something) and safe.

In the city itself there is not much to see. But if you want a cheeper stay than in Agrigento, I really recommend San Leone. You reach easy all the sight like the Valley of Temples or the Stairs of the Turks. Also you can find nice beaches if you look for it.

We came to see the temples and took a private guide (a little on the expensive side at euro100, but this was partially set off because we didn’t have to pay entrance fees because we visited on the first Sunday of the month when it”s free!)
Everything was perfect! The house is so big, very clean, well equipped and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The outside seating is perfect for breakfast. So much privacy and space in the garden and for parking. It's the perfect location if you have a car and want to explore Agrigento area and want a quiet area.
The lovely owners welcomed us and we experienced Sicilian hospitality. There were a very pleasant and gracious hosts.
It was very close to the beach, it was private with safe parking, the house had great charisma and wonderful pool area. The host Fausto is an amazing and humble man, always helpful and smiling. Thare are two cute dogs at the property. It’s a 10min drive to Agrigento and 2min to the beach. Recomend bar called Oceano Mare. Wonderful staff and food.
The house is simply great - it's quite large with private parking and lot of place around the house. The view from the living room window is stunning - oriented to the sea and sunset. Several balconies and garden with trees. I rarely write reviews but this accommodation was above our expectation and so far best in Sicily.
Excellent communication with host. Clean and comfortable room. The best breakfast we had the whole month we were traveling around Sicily! The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our stay. Excellent location. We would definitely go back there if we are ever in the area again.
Beautifully appointed hotel, very comfortable and with a fabulous pool. Rooms were spacious and the whole place was nicely decorated and looking very smart. Well worth staying here (taxi trip (12E) out of Agrigento if you want a pool …. And believe me you do !!
Lots of very nice restaurants a short walk away.
Fabio, Alfonso, Roberta Marco and the rest of the staff were great. Beautiful hotel with great restaurant. Free van to the valley of the temples. True hospitality - told us everything we needed to know. Short walk to a lovely beach. Very clean. Excellent breakfast.
Clean new rooms with balcony overlooking San Leone. Good breakfasts with a friendly welcome drink at 18.30. Lots of leisure and spa treatments that we didn't have time to take advantage of. Safe accessible parking over the road. There is a lift
Domingo is a generous and chilled out host. The room was clean, comfortable and cool, which helps when the weather outside is hot. The breakfast was one of the better ones we had in Sicily and included fresh fruit as well as local almonds.
Sabrina and Michele are the sweetest people. They have great recommendations and they show you how to enjoy San Leone at the fullest. Also, they make an amazing breakfast with fresh products, including even some home made treats.
Best B&B i ever had, friendly, clean, comfortable, good location, good breakfast, more than a good price for that! nothing to complain about, i will return definatley! And San Leone is a Paradise to be, check it out!!!
It’s clean, it has a wonderful roof top terrace with sun all day. It’s close to Agrigento to visit the Valle dei Templi and the town itself.
The sea is nearby.
Antonio is a great host. He is always close at hand.
Veridiana and Simon, super kind people. Best hosts! The place is 7 minutes by car from Valley of Temples and Agrigento, and so close to the beach, quiet and nice. We had a very good stay. Thanks for all!
The property was lovely, the hosts friendly & accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful - with cornetti, fruit, & cassata, cappuccino etc. Maps of Agrigento & the Valley of the Temples were in the room.

Room is big and clean and very close to the beach .
Hotel location quite good because their are many restaurant nearby hotel by walking distance.
The hotel is by seaside, and we had a stunning view from the balcony. Very nice and wellcoming staff, they change towels and clean the rooms daily. They have secure parking and a lovely pool.
The room itself was very clean & well set up . . . seemed to be a brand new hotel. The view of sunset off the large veranda was awesome. Host was very nice.
