I absolutely loved this place and we’ve stayed in quite a few recently. The hosts are very welcoming, the provisions have been thoroughly and generously thought out. The room is so comfortable with a view to the majestic cathedral. Loved the winding stone staircase up four floors. Opens out onto the high street which in the run up to Christmas was a vibrant uplifting place to be.Enjoyed the roasted chestnuts.

Classic French town dominated by churches especially the RC cathedral. A few good restaurants and bars plus a superb themed botanical gardens. Cocktails in Le Club were excellent. The bathroom and shower were roomy. The room was spotless. And best of all, it was quiet. The location was excellent, as I cam to Coutances to photograph the cathedral and this room is practically across the street from the cathedral.
