Rugged cliff top setting, the restaurant had lovely sea views.. We didn't have seaview room but the view was still pleasant looking towards the hills in a quiet residential area. Bed was comfortable and room well furnished. Food in restaurant very good. Hotel short walk from harbour and local amenities.

We managed to book not long before we arrived and we chose it because of the late check in. It was great that the pub was able to accommodate us at such short notice. The staff were really helpful. The breakfast was really good.

Berwick upon Tweed, the border town between Scotland and England is twelve miles away from Grantshouse. One can stay in Grantshouse and visit the historic border town, if accommodation is unavailable in Berwick upon Tweed.
The coast is not too far from Grantshouse. Grantshouse is probably good for walks and cycling.
