The cottage has good heating. It is in a peaceful and quiet location, with ample parking. The host has thoughtfully provided olive oil, butter, cooking foil, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, little touches that are very much appreciated. She was only a phone call away, to explain how to turn on the heating. The property is old fashioned, but has cable tv, an odd, but nice, contradictory touch .

Everything went smoothly and the property did not disappoint, clean, comfortable and quirky. Also the owner was very pleasant. The fresh milk & scones were appreciated after a long drive.

Beautifully decorated hotel and very close to city center. Secured entry 24/7 via key fob. Amenities were superb in the room, including hairdryer, safe, iron, armoire and a nice added touch to see packs of cookies at the coffee/tea kettle counter in room. Bed was comfortable and bathroom shower very nice. The staff were so kind and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and presented beautifully. I would gladly return to this hotel when visiting Kildare again.

Lovely wee town and nice train station for the train 37 mins into Heuston Station Dublin. We attended a wedding in the Heritage Hotel , a few kilometres from the town and that was a first class experience
