There are much better place to stay in Sicily.

There are much better place to stay in Sicily. Acireale has very limited restaurants.. good for sea food lovers. Food was expensive! but not much varieties of Italian pizza and pasta! Views were good but Acireale is very quite and 25 minutes walk to the near place! No trains, trams and bus service! You have only two options to travel… walk or taxi. Sea looked beautiful but it was Rocky so I wasn’t comfortable to swim. Toarmina was good great. Avoid sea in Acireale. Go to south where you can find sandy beaches

Lovely city, very cosy and pretty. The sea is wonderful, the food is insane - no matter where you go, you eat well. The locals are friendly and always ready to help. They don't speak much English, but they're still helpful!

We went with tow small kids 6 and 3 year olds. Not alot for them to do here , they have etnaland which is a waterpark that was great fun and only 20 mins drive and is a small fair in catania but apart from that not much else. would recommend looking at taormina or cefalu if travelling with kids to sciliy

    Lovely town!

Lovely town! Not much happening during the day and almost everything closed between 13.00 & 16.30 for siesta so was limited to what you could do or eat during those hours. At night though it was a different story and the place came alive!! Great atmosphere and streets were bustling, a great change from the day.

Nice atmosphere of the historical center, not crowded by tourists. Perfect location for visiting Etna, Catania, Taormina, Noto and other eastern seacost places. Probably not good destination for those who like spending holidays on beach.

We chose Acireale as a nearby alternative to the chaos of a big city (Catania). In winter it seems sleepy, but there are still many restaurants and bars, as well as a lively centro. The apartment is a short stroll from the centro storico but on a wonderfully quiet side road. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. The heater was very quiet and efficient. The bathroom is large enough to dance in. The owner was welcoming and ready to answer our every question, including his favorite restaurants.

The hotel was very nice. Newly Updated and great furnishings. The hosts were amazing. They were always available through WhatsApp to give us suggestions. They were very quick to get back to us and respond. They gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants. Santa speaks great English and we communicated very well with Google translate with her husband. We felt very safe. Even after we left, the messaged us and said “if you need anything, let us know. “ amazing! 😍😍😍

Residents Cavour is one of these rare pearls. Located very near the main Plaza of the wonderful little town of Acireale; very local; not overwhelmed by tourists as Taormina is. The hotel and the rooms are modern and kept pristine. The biggest asset of Residenza Cavour is undoubtedly Michelangelo: he will bend backwards to make your stay as pleasant as can be. I like the formula of a voucher to some very nice terraces on nearby plazas for breakfast included

The residence is nice. during our stay the weather was a disaster, but when the weather is sunny and warm it is a very nice location to get out to the east part of Sicily and return and take a nice cool swim in the pool. The appartement and outside area is spacious and perfect witch children, i also like the lockable fenses to acces the pool. The host is nice and brought us a nice breakfast when we left to the airport in the early morning.

This was our favorite (re)treat in Sicily! Daniela was the best part of our vacation, accoglientissima, funny, friendly and attentive like your own sister. Her family’s villa is in a beautiful position right under the active volcano and also overlooking the gorgeous Mediterranean from its perch. Very clean, relaxing, private, spacious and happy place for rest and discovery.

We were here only for 1 night, we liked a lot Acireale and it’s really convenient to be right in the center. We liked the decoration of the room. The host was really kind, our train was on Sunday and there is no bus on Sunday to go at the train station. The host proposed to drop us at the train station, it was really kind.

Family run hotel in the most amazing old beautiful building - the hosts were incredibly lovely and kind. Gorgeous sun terrace with a great view of Etna. Acireale is a nice town and good alternative if you prefer somewhere a little more tranquil to Cantania. Highly recommend!
