It's the second time I stayed here. The breakfast was good, rooms clean and spacious, friendly staff with a smile especially at the reception. Had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we were really satisfied. Parking outside the hotel always available. Above all the price was very reasonable.

The room had everything you needed, was a good size and well presented. The property was within a 10 minute walk to explore the surrounding old town. The off street parking was really convenient and ensured we avoided the ZTL. The staff was responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Small boutique hotel with jaw dropping views over the town of Modica. We had a large bedroom with comfortable bed, an adjoining sitting room and a large terrace all with views and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors to enjoy the views etc. We had been travelling for a while so we very much appreciated the stunning location, the classy new fit out and boutique nature of establishment to just stay in our room for a few days, chill and recharge our batteries fully, before getting out and discovering Modica, a really charming town. FYI - Italians don't do breakfast, so don't expect an amazing breakfast for this level of establishment, it was totally adequate and good coffee, but amazing breakfast just isn't their thing, lol, we've found the same in a few places. Staff were lovely and helpful, and we could have easily stayed perched up on the hill for a month or more!

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

Modica is a very interesting town. For older people the steps and steep roads and streets might be challenging. The green tourist “train” gave a good overview of the histoic centre of the old town. Modica is famous for its chocolate - tours need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Modica is so unique.
Modica is so unique. Our first view of the steep hillside of buildings took our breath away. Our phones weren't helping us get there so we drove down from the alto section to the bottom through the town. That was amazing. Just looking up at different times of the day are worth the experience.

Unfortunately we visited Modica on a rainy day so our experience was dampened a little. It looked like it was full of historical interest and of course it's famous for its chocolate if you like their style of chocolate!

Modica was the perfect Baroque city to locate in to explore the other cities and the beach. The location to bus station and train station was convenient to do daytime exploring. The city had a good mix of tourist stuff and regular people shops and restaurants.
Mostly I cooked in my apartment but I took day trips every day.
Lots of places call themselves "spas," but this was really is. You are above the valley where Modica is, it's lovely, really quiet. Breakfast was out of this world, every morning. We were almost late for one breakfast (jet lag) but the staff was kind enough to wait for us to arrive. Our room faced the pool and if the weather had been warmer, I am sure that we would have taken advantage, it looked beautiful. We had somewhere to travel by taxi every day and the staff was super helpful setting up travel for our daily trips.
The staff here are absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We arrived here with two dogs, and needed to extend our stay, which they were able to arrange for us, at the same previous rate. We need a place to park our van for a few extra days and they allowed us to leave on their premiss. as new residents in Modica, they extended a warm welcome and invited us to come by anytime to use their pools. the grounds of this hotel is lovely, and well maintained. The pool is a delight!
Beautiful apartment :) View from terrace was unbelievable. We feel really satisfied with our choice and madame is very nice, helpful and willing. :) I can honestly say that this was my best experience with booking. We were really happy that we find this place and have opportunity to stay here for a few days.
This place is located in beautiful city Modica with many points of interest. Really exceeded our expectations.
Very clean and tastefully furnished small apartment. First of all, I would like to thank Federica for the friendly and cordial welcome! Very inquisitive, professional and polite hostess! Explained everything in detail, where to go and how to get there, while sending all the coordinates in great detail. This is very cool! I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Modica!
Everything was great and it exceeded expectations: the room is beautiful, the bed - super comfy and we loved the view. The facilities are new and super clean and stylish - our best stay so far in Sicily!
Also, Federica was very nice and kind and offered a lot of tips and recommendations. Overall, we loved Modica and our stay! Grazie!
Awesome place for the money.
We especially loved the view from the small terrace and the bright room attached. I also quite loved the little kitchen too. It felt like my granny's home with all the comforts. The wifi was some of the best we've had in Sicily. There is also a grocery store at the end of the street which was handy.
That's a magical place. 18th century villa, which was renewed 5 years ago. All profits go to the foundation which helps to mothers and children.
The location is great, in good weather you can see the sea. Owner is very nice person and made a tour for us. The place is amazing. The filling of true Sicily from old movies
Everything was great! Quaint little house with a very Instagrammable terrace. Washing machine also a nice touch. Giovanni was super helpful with recommendations around Modica and one of the friendliest faces we've encountered so far in Sicily!
The location was next to the St Giorgius Cathedral and had stunning views. The balcony was wonderful. our host, Valentina, came to greet us after hours. The breakfast at the Bar del Duomo was the best we had in Sicily.
Staying at giancarlo's was an amazing experience, felt like staying at a baron's mansion 1000 years ago. Breakfast was a treat, all local or homemade. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through Sicily.
the silence and the host made our stay special. we loved our stay there and enjoyed a lot the countryside of sicily.
we will be back for sure. the lady is very helpfull and sweet and the breakfast is good.
Our host welcomed us to the Baronial family home with such a personal touch. We felt included in a part of Modica familial history and the breakfast room is stunning. Very good value for money.
Our host was very gracious and provided clear communication. the place we stayed in was well appointed, clean, and charming. Location is in lower Modica but within walking to most places.
The location of this place is in the old town and very accessible to see beautiful views from all over Modica Alta. We were happy to us this as our home base while there.
