The B&B is centrally located. Breakfast was served in a lovely room. Home made cakes, eggs any style, juice and coffee and more. The room on the second floor was nice with a lovely view of the city. You need to find parking first as the B&B is in a street closed to cars.
Morgan met us at the car and helped us with our luggage.

Large, grand and airy room with a surprisingly modern bathroom. Very clean but the room decor is crumbling a little. We had driven to Piazza Armerina and parked in the free carpark about 6 minutes walk away. Good WiFi. Don't expect anything extraordinary for breakfast despite the hyped reviews. This was our 5th small B&B in southern Sicily and breakfast here was unexceptional.
The following is not really a review of the B&B booking but about the extra evening meal: We had been offered an evening meal for an additional charge of 35E each and this was cooked especially for us in the small restaurant opposite. This was offered to us via WhatsApp message and not via booking.com. We were the only two guests eating that night. Whilst the food was excellent and our appetites were no match for the generous portions, we did feel rushed. Hardly were we finishing one course than another was served. But the quality and quantity of food (and drink) was excellent and if you fancy a multi course Sicilian meal, then definitely accept the offer.
Offering a garden with BBQ facilities, free WiFi throughout and a terrace, AgriTrinacria Rooms is in the countryside around Piazza Amerina on Sicily Island.

We flexible and pleasant host. We got dinner though the kitchen was closed. Nice place and great view to a mountain. The nigthtingale was singing in the valley.
Set in a 19th-century house about 1 km from the historic centre of Piazza Armerina, Villa Clementine offers rooms with views of the city, garden and swimming pool.

Our host, Rita, made our stay extremely enjoyable. She is exceptionally hospitable and kind. She welcomed us into her home and provided the perfect breakfast.
Fly to Catania Airport, then drive 78km to Piazza Armerina (approx. 1.5 hours). Alternatively, take a bus from Catania (2.5 hours) or Palermo (3 hours). For domestic travellers, direct buses from major cities are available. Transfers may be required.
The most convenient airport for Piazza Armerina is Catania-Fontanarossa Airport. It's the closest major airport, approximately 78 km away, offering both domestic and international flights, making it ideal for all travellers.
Piazza Armerina, Italy, is best navigated on foot due to its compact size. For longer distances, the local bus service, operated by AST, is reliable and covers the town extensively. Cycling is also an option, with bike rentals available. Driving is possible, but parking can be challenging in the town centre.
The historic centre of Piazza Armerina, with its medieval architecture and proximity to the Roman Villa del Casale, is the most popular and convenient area for visitors to stay.

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere.
(Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)

An evening spent in Piazza Armerina was really one of the most beautiful in Sicily! We enjoyed the pleasant town with the host of the accommodation. He has a excellent enoteca (wine shop) on the square next to the apartment, so we spent the evening in his wine shop tasting amazing local wine, olives and olive oil. The host took very good care of us. Despite the fact that we do not know Italian and he does not speak English, we understood each other very well and we had no problem with communication :-) We really recommend this place :-)
Samantha and her husband are charming and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay in Piazza Armerina. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable with a great shower. Samantha's husband helped with our luggage and even drove us to Villa Romana for a small fee (buses weren't running in the winter). Samantha made sure to include some lovely typical sweets for breakfast. The B&B is centrally located (10 minutes on foot to the bus station). We were able to easily explore the city on foot. We loved their special little furry pet!
We chose b&b Diana based on reviews and location near bus stop since we were traveling by bus. Staff was waiting upon arrival and were very helpful. Bottled water in our room, juices and light snacks in common area kitchen. Room was at front of property overlooking a busy street but windows shut out most of street noise. Typical Sicilian breakfast in cafe on ground level. Owner and employees made us feel right at home. Limited English speaking staff, but not a big deal. A translation app solved any language barriers.
The owner was really kind and helpful throughout our stay providing taxi services personally to get us to and from the hotel including picking us from the station on our arrival .
The hotel itself was quite traditional. It also has amazing views of Piazza Armerina. The room clean and spacious. We didn’t realise it was an extra charge for a room it’s an AC but there was a fan in our room anyway. The room was cleaned daily at no extra charge so cleanliness was maintained.
Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast.
Our stay was an amazing experience. This place is truly the best. The view was astonishing towards city of Piazza Armerina. The rooms were stylish and very clean. Breakfast fulfilled all the expectations and more. Nicky's breakfast was a piece of art. The hospitality from Roberto and Nicky is something we will never forget and propably will never experience anywhere else.
Me and my wife can't thank enough for the memorable stay. I wanna wish all the best for Nicky and Roberto.
The room was large and clean and was a throwback to the 1960's even though the building itself was hundreds of years old. The room had a terrace opeining on the pizza and we could watch the performance from our room. We came to see Villa Romana del Casale for the extraordinary Roman mosaics and the hotel was only a few miles away. It was a very nice breakfast and the staff was attentive. Wonderful restaurant around the corner.
We spent here very short time. Just arrived in the evening and left after breakfast as we wanted to visit the Villa Casale nearby. The location of the house was perfect for this, it is in the quiet suburbs of Piazza Armerina. We got a parking place and after arrival we could go to have dinner, which was very delicious and a big portion (we recommend to try it). The room was spacious and the host was very kind.
This appartment is one of the best value in Sicily. The appartment is large, clean, confortable and stylish (sicilian style). The hosts are very sympathic and helpfull. I stayed there one time with my wife and two daughters and decide to return later because I was back in the area. And one last thing : the view on the old city is exceptionnal!
Our hosts were kind and gracious. They helped us park, gave us coffee and biscotti—such a friendly welcome!! Ettore cooked us a wonderful dinner—such a special experience!! our room was clean and comfortable with a sweet balcony overlooking historic Piazza Armerina. Breakfast was enormous and delicious!! We loved our time there.
Peaceful, beautiful, original and utterly perfect Agriturismo, family owned and run with grace and elegance. Food was the finest we ate in Sicily, greenest and coolest place in the hot August month, and most comfortable bed. Little bit of rare genuine Sicilian courtesy and gentleness can be found here. Book it.
We loved everything! The hosts were warm and welcoming. Their house filled with paintings and artisan items. In the morning, the hosts offered a breakfast of home made and local specialities. We warmly recommend Zù Mariu to anyone, since it must stand out as a pearl among all places on Booking.
This is a very convenient hotel close to Piazza Armerina, It offers free parking on site, a very good restaurant and breakfast with eggs and home made blood orange juice. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This is the ideal place for a road trip in Sicily.
Incredibly responsive and helpful host. Great location in historic center. Bright room. Charming place with a cute garden. Convenient to road to area with Roman mosaics. Nearby parking that host helps with. Excellent value. Good breakfast.
The position is fantastic - at the top off the hill next to the Cathedral. Staff very pleasant. The "themed", as opposed to numbered, rooms were a little bit quirky but the better for it. Piazza Armerina itself is an unexpected gem.
Neat and clean, beautiful surrounding, best place ever to visit Piazza Armerina, la casale romana, Aidone and Morgantina with his breathtaking hellenistic area.
By the way : nearby you will find a supermarket
We like everything about Antico Palazzo, especially the way we were treated by the staff. The manager was extremely helpful and kind, I highly recommend this place to everyone who's planing a trip to Sicily.
We felt like we were coming home. The accommodations were comfortable and the whole feeling of the place was warm and inviting. We were only there for a short time but felt welcomed and cared for.
