Middletown is a gem.
Middletown is a gem. Surrounded by Newport and Portsmouth on Aquidneck Island. Beautiful beaches, great food, friendly people. Favorite places: Sachuest Beach, Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge, Great eateries include Johnny's Seafood at the Wyndham Hotel, Atlantic Grille, Tickets, Chilli's and Chelsea's.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate and as represented. Shower could have been better. Door lock inoperable on last day. Needed new batteries. Excellent price. Good location. Overall, for a short stay in a high cost area, it was acceptable.

We were there for a wedding in newport The hotel was only a few miles from the venue It was also close to downtown newpirt and most 9f the sightseeing etc. There were restaurants and beaches very close. We enjoyed the smaller more intimate property Would sef. Stay again

It is actually cleaner and updated than the most branded hotel i have checked in. I have been to different countries/places and it is the first time as far as i remember that the front desk called our room phone to check if we were doing ok..probably because we are not from the area. But it is a good gesture to make sure that the guests are comfortable. The price is affordable than the other hotels around the area.Location is convenient as well.
