The staff were really friendly, and apologetic when our food took a little longer to come than expected. The breakfast service was really quick and the food was lovely. The rooms were comfortable, could have just used a little updating. We had a dog with us and they were a dog friendly hotel, and were very understanding that we did not want to sit in the main restaurant and that we preferred to sit in the conservatory near a door.

Location was set just outside Newton Stewart. Walkable if able and very quiet. Adequate parking for motorbike. Static van was very clean and all the necessities required. Ian was very friendly and offered any help if required.

The apartment was huge and fantastic for all of us adults and children, big enough and very comfortable. The estate is amazing!!The river is close by, surrounded by nature.... Absolutely great, will highly recommend it to everyone, brilliant long weekend away!!
