This was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the property is gorgeous. Everything is well laid-out and designed with a ton of greenery everywhere. There are numerous places in the public areas to sit or lounge in the in the shade, and coffee and other beverages are available at the bar. I met a number of other interesting travelers (the place is small, so you will run into the same people a lot). There is one decent restaurant within walking distance, many more a short taxi ride away. The owner, Urban, can help arrange transportation from the airport as well as for sightseeing.

Incredible property. Once you step inside you will be amazed. Great room with good bed and shower. The breakfast was just perfect, The hotel does not provide other meals (good drinks and wine though) but there is a very good restaurant just meters away. The owner is very nice and the other staff members as well.

The property is truly a slice of heaven. It is tranquil and peaceful and safe and wonderful. The rooms were so comfortable, the shower was the fanciest I think I've ever seen in my life! I felt like Goldilocks, as the bed was not too hard or too soft, it was just right after a long travel day. Urban gave great advice on where to find a local restaurant for a delicious Gambian dinner. I work in the US in the hospitality industry, and I can honestly say this property is absolutely perfect!

Personalized attention from the owner, Urban! I received an extremely useful message prior to my stay detailing the facilities, access and the complete lack of ATMs in The Gambia. The room was extremely spacious, the breakfast top notch and the staff was wonderful. After hours, the bar is on the honor system - help yourself to a beer from the fridge and mark it down on the ledger.

Rooftop Hotel is like an oasis in the sky with lots of plants and a couple of hundred lights that are lit up every night. The building is beatiful with a unique interior design, we felt like it was our honeymoon. Urban the owner was superb and very helpful. The staff working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful too.
