I loved the room with all its coziness and outdoor deck with blankies. I so appreciated all the comfort from the owners as well. I was grieving and they took their personal time to acknowledge that and comfort and pray for me. I shall be forever grateful. Thx ever so much.

Located in Coal Harbour, 14 miles from Port Hardy Ferry Terminal, The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and water sports facilities. The most beautiful view of the bay you can imagine with direct access in the back of the B&B on the property. You can borrow kayaks if you want. One of the owners is a 5-star chef, and breakfast was amazing. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom with amenities and plenty of towels as needed. Hosts are awesome and kind.

Nimpkish Hotel is located on the beachfront in Alert Bay, Cormorant Island. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. What a fantastic place! Very warm welcome from Penba and his husband who are managing this beautiful hotel. We looooved the oceanfront outside patio which got everything to feel cozy and relaxed : hammock, comfy sofas, you name it! Very quiet, room and the whole hotel was sparkling! Penba is also a wonderful cook so we had dinner in the bright living room, gazing at the ocean while eating a super flavourful homemade palek paneer! I walked all along the seaside and up to see the world's tallest totem pole, and looked at all the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw art and history along the walk. So instructive and beautiful! Did not go to the cultural center as I arrived too late but it is a good excuse to come back and stay at the Nimpkish Hotel again!

This Port McNeill accommodations is located on 26 acres and features a Disc Golfing Course. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are provided. Lower Nimpkish River Provincial Park is 9.3 mi away. Everything! Lisa is a great host - she gives you a card with her cell number when she welcomes you so you have the option to text her if you need anything. The cabin's bed and shower were luxurious; the kitchen was spotless, well laid out and well equipped; the space was perfectly designed for a couple with lovely little design touches. The bed is so comfortable we asked about the brand so we can look at purchasing one for home (Lisa answered promptly and said she gets that question from lots of guests). Some particular highlights are the covered deck with Adirondack-style chairs and glass panels to keep the view of the ocean; the BBQ; the tap water (cold and pure); the fridge with a separate compartment freezer; gas/propane burners in the kitchen; and the shelf system in the bedroom. Finally, the location is fantastic - you're close enough to town to make it a quick trip, but far enough away that you get serenaded by frogs if you're out in the evening (a rural treat).
