This hotel is spectacular! The decor is tasteful, warm, and looked like it came straight from a magazine! The staff were super nice and friendly. Get a room with a view! It overlooks the harbour and town, with views all across the bay. the showers was amazing and the location is awesome! You can just walk for 5 minutes and you are at a beautiful beach. All the restaurants and main walking street are also a 5 minute walk. We couldn't have been happier!

Everything was perfect. We decided for a room with the big balcony with the view to the church was so great, that was a perfect chill place. Comfortable deckchairs, a table with comfortable seats, all this created the perfect atmosphere for morning coffee, relaxation and, at the same time, a slightly hidden view of the city bustle, lots of sun in the morning, shade in the evening. In the house was beautiful furniture.

Our room looked out across Mirabello Bay, towards the mountains of east Crete. The Lato is a very welcoming hotel, with a large foyer for relaxation and enjoying drinks from the bar on the terrace outside. Breakfast can be taken on this terrace, with shade from the morning sun. Breakfast is wonderful, with a great choice, including many home-cooked items. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The Lato is only a few minutes walk from the delightful Ammoudi beach and the bustling centre of Agios Nikolaos.

All staff is so kind. We have been to all restaurants in the hotel. Each one was of a high standard and was very delicious. Rooms are extra clean. Beach is lovely, and the service is fantastic. We will definitely next year visit and stay more.

The hotel was refurbished and it had everything renovated: from the locker of the room to the glass fence on the balcony. Looks to be a family business as we were welcomed by a very nice young family. They were very kind to us and our son as they anticipate our needs. They showed us how to better use the amenities and what to explore in the area. As the hotel was not full, they did us an upgrade of the room: same space but a refurbished one. The location is perfect, very close to the center and the seaside. There is private parking on the street that you can access using a pin code.
