Enorme Santanna Beach

Facing the beachfront, Enorme Santanna Beach offers 4-star accommodations in Ierapetra and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and garden. All the staff was extremely nice and helpfull all the time. The rooms are very nicely organized and furnished (we loved the 2 large closets for clothes in which we could also fit all our lugagge, thus keeping the room tidy as we like it). Panagiota (if i remember corectly) from the spa has magic hands :D. We also loved that there was a small gym with just enough equipment for us. The entire complex is very nice, with small buildings that sit on a steep hill (they helped with luggage and a golf car is always available for anyone who might need it). It is very well maintained and constantly cleaned. There is a tunnel under the road that connects the hotel to the beach, which is great. You might say that the beach is not great (rocky, with small black pebbles and some sand), but after you visit 8 other beaches in the south-east part, you realize the beach is actually very good.

This hotel is spectacular! The decor is tasteful, warm, and looked like it came straight from a magazine! The staff were super nice and friendly. Get a room with a view! It overlooks the harbour and town, with views all across the bay. the showers was amazing and the location is awesome! You can just walk for 5 minutes and you are at a beautiful beach. All the restaurants and main walking street are also a 5 minute walk. We couldn't have been happier!

Everything was perfect. We decided for a room with the big balcony with the view to the church was so great, that was a perfect chill place. Comfortable deckchairs, a table with comfortable seats, all this created the perfect atmosphere for morning coffee, relaxation and, at the same time, a slightly hidden view of the city bustle, lots of sun in the morning, shade in the evening. In the house was beautiful furniture.

It is a good base to discover the eastern part of Crete including Agios Nikolaos, Sitia and Vai as well as the Lasithi Plateau. Parking is right in front of the property and off street. We were arriving rather late from Iraklion on our first day but Emmanouela managed to get us some lovely food from a nearby taverna upon our arrival. Simply great! Whenever we needed something, Emmanouela was there and had the right answer.

The most wonderful beach we saw in Lasithi area, Voulisma, is only 8 min walking from the location. Enough parking spots in front of the location. Miramare Resort has different kind of rooms and we received an amazing upgrade for our 1 week vacation there. Our room was clean and modern, with a small private pool outside!!! Fantastic!!! The view was breathtaking!!! Lola at the Reception was super kind and Nectarius was also helpful and professional. We did not use the hotel restaurant but we tried the near Meltemi & Gargadoros (few min walking distance), both very very good (overall the Greek food is delicious). And for a last drink of the day, we suggest To Votsalo (cafe' - bar) with a small lovely beach and fantastic view of the bay by night. To the other side of the Resort you will find the very nice Almyros Beach but if you have a car drive all the way to Voulisma (15min)!!! Maybe the best vacation ever had! Thank you Crete!

The resort, the villas and the rooms are amazing. We enjoyed every meal wether buffet or the great restaurant beside the pool. their food is exceptional. sunday’s beach party with a Dj is amazing! Tuesday’s dance group was so fun and beautiful! hygiene is super taken care of! great and helpful staff! i highky recommend!
