Angela is an amazing host - she greeted us on arrival, offered coffee, fresh juices and gave us recommendations on what to do in Salina, including renting a scooter (delivered at the hotel itself). The hotel is a gem, overlooking the sea and the islands of Vulcano, Panarea and Stromboli - if visibility is clear, you can also see the volcano of Stromboli steaming & bursting at night. The room was impeccably clean and the window overlooking the sea and the other islands made it so dreamy! Breakfast was freshly made every morning with home baked cakes, fresh croissants, bread and fruits. We will definitely be back & can’t recommend this place enough!

Very willing to stay and chat to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Fantastic view from the room and a big terrace with cushions to while away the time. Comfortable room with a fridge and safe. Big wardrobe and chest of drawers. Excellent food! The breakfast was enormous. Huge plate of really yummy pastries and cakes every morning as well as juice and fruit and coffee. We had dinner at the hotel once and again the portions were enormous and the food was the best we had the whole stay. Highly recommend eating there.

Just 164 feet from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 656 feet from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. We absolutely loved our stay at i cinque balconi. Beautiful and thoughtful decor and the view from the room was stunning. The restaurant and bar downstairs were also lovely. We can’t wait to come back!

On our departure date, she offered to open breakfast early for us or even pack up a to go box for us which was incredibly thoughtful. Loved everything ❤️

The fine dining and the regular restaurant are full of local products and traditional flavors (with an eye to the future and innovation). I recommend trying and tasting the excellent Aeolian wines, including those from the same family. Thank you for this fantastic experience. We will be back.

She offered me fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden, homemade jam and helped me a lot in arranging excursions to the other Aeolian islands and transportation in Lipari (since I don't speak Italian). The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a nice garden. It has a beautiful view and is ideal for calm nights.

Words and pictures don't do justice. This was not only one of my favorite places in Italy, but one of the most breathtaking experiences I've ever had. 1-they had their driver come to meet my lady and I at the port for pickup and drop-off to and from hotel. 2-the staff was professional, kind, accommodating, and friendly.(they upgraded our room when we checked in) 3-the breakfast was all anybody could ask for with freshly baked pastry as well as refreshing fruits that helped us start our days off right. 4-the other guests that were at the hotel were some of the coolest people I've ever met in my life. 5- and I'll sum it up with this. YOU WILL NOT GET A BETTER VIEW OR PRIVATE ACCESS to the water like You do here. Ignore any other bad reviews because those people don't know what they are talking about. This place is a hidden gem that you NEED to experience. Ciao.

Everything was great! The pool was amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious. The views were spectacular. The snack bar and eating areas were nice. They had the best “granite panna”. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had such a lovely stay at Case Margherita. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The little patios by each apartment are a great spot to eat, hang out, and relax. The view from the pool is just awesome at all times of the day. Linda and her staff were all very nice, available, and helpful. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're in Lipari!
