Best possible location, at the highest point of Vieste. The view from the roof top terrace is breath taking and a 30 secs walk brings you down to the old centre of town. The host Giulio is the best host we have met during our road trip in Puglia, Basilicata and Campania. He knows the surroundings very well, has great tips for beaches, restaurants or other activities in the Gargano area (and outside in case you have time on your hands). Breakfast is diverse, with local products and of course great coffee, as you can expect in Italy.

We came to this hotel 13 years ago and our only regret is not to have come back earlier! Francesco and Antonella are delightful hosts. Antonella's delicious dishes are extremely refined (Michelin star quality), all with fresh, local ingredients. The breakfast selection is amazing, again everything home-made. The hotel is decorated very tastefully throughout and beautifully located amongst the olive groves, near the sea and Gargano's beautiful beaches, including Calanella. And their olive oil is one of the best in Puglia.

The fully and nicely furnished apartment apartment is ideally located to explore Gargano: close to nice beaches, hiking paths, and the lovely towns of Mattinata and Vieste. Me and my family have had a wonderful time at this place. The villa was brand new, the pool and its view of Vieste, the jewel of Gargano, were outstanding. The location couldn't be more strategic to explore the whole peninsula and the owners were very attentive and helpful. Our stay at Villaggio Idra definitely exceeded our expectations and it would be our first option in a future visit to this amazing corner of Italy.

Quiet rural location, with easy access to coast, Mattinatta and the hills and beautiful flowers of the Gargano peninsula The host was very helpful and spoke a little English. We used google translate to communicate quite a lot. Various measures had been taken to make the house more sustainable - eg Photo Voltaic cells, The garden and olive grove was clearly cared for and a vegetable garden was being planted.

The location was amazing, very quiet and just a few steps away from the private beach. The rooms are big and very comfortable, everything is brand new, very hygienic, great breakfast ! The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, they made sure we had everything we needed ! In short, we had a lovely vacation at this beautiful accommodation surrounded by the most beautiful nature and beaches of Gargano. Thank you !

A spacious and comfortable flat with a nice balcony with a view of the sea and of a medieval castle. A walking distance from a charming city center with churches, little piazzas and a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. Plenty of shops also walking distance. A great place to explore Gargano, North of Puglia and also to get a bit of a glimpse of the local way of life in this beautiful part of Italy.

Very friendly staff, especially the people during the breakfast shift and Martina. Very clean and cute decorated Residence area, nice and clean apartments, equipped with everything you need. Also the pool area and the possibility to have breakfast outside is nice. Close by the beach (foot distance) and many possibilities to go for a hike. A nice place to be and explore Gargano.

The breakfast was a nice choice of cereals, fruit and pastries. Coffee was also offered fresh. The staff were kind and friendly and very helpful with storing our bicycles. The hotel was also very clean. Thank you to the owners for making our stay at your hotel so comfortable and a great introduction to the Gargano Peninsula.

Exceptional view over Vieste, very well equipped apartment, even with a toaster and water boiler to prepare tea. Warm welcome with nespresso capsuls and olive oil and orichette and lots of recommendations for excursions and activities in the Gargano national park. We had a lovelly time and enjoyed the large terrace.

What a perfect place in the most beautiful area. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with a 5* view of the orchards and the sea. Foresta umbra and the Gargano towns easy to reach. Well done Giovanni for creating this gem. Didn't want to leave.

We adored our stay at this magical hotel in a magical part of town! The air, the sun, the sea: all met on this peninsula on the peninsula that is Gargano. And don’t forget to visit their glorious rooftop terrace!

Great starting point if you want to explore the Gargano Peninsula and then relax in a pool with a great view over the whole city of Vieste. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed, it was pleasure stay.

We booked last minute but even so, the host made sure the apartment was spotless and all amenities in place. Location very near the ocean and the lagoon and a short trip to picturesque Rodi Gargano.
