Brakanes Hotel is located on the shores of the Hardanger Fjord in Ulvik. The hotel restaurant features a buffet and a la carte menu of local dishes. Free WiFi is included. Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away.... The apartment we used for our family of five was very clean and comfortable, with all the necessary ammenities to cook supper. The beautiful view on the fjord was an added bonus. Breakfast was very good.

Oda the GM of the facilities was outstanding. I had a flat tire on my way to the hotel....she offered to come pick me up. That is above and beyond great customer service. Food was made fresh and to our orders Location was fabulous...highly recommend. Right on Hardasherfjord. Room had a patio door that overlooked the fjord. Amazing views!!! I would definitely recommend....and will plan on returning

Tyssedal Hotel is by the Hardangerfjorden at the foot of the Hardangervidda Mountains, 3.7 mi north of central Odda. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free sauna access. The staff was very nice and helpful! The rooms was with nice view, clean and big! One of biggest advantages - personal parking. Very interesting interior of hotel. I liked it so much!
