Very well presented and nothing no was too much trouble. The owners are great and very friendly. Breakfast was supplied in the house and was great. We will definitely stay here again!

The place is certainly a bit older but well kept clean and proper,nice big room with a good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and good pressure, breakfast is the usual continental nothing extraordinary but normal with cheese and ham, yogurt, etc

We were traveling from USA and Sweden, and struggling with our very few words of Portuguese that we knew. The staff was really great to us and helped us along. Dinner service was lovely. An English speaking staff member helped us with the menu and recommended some fantastic meals and a local wine. When we checked in, the man helping us heard we were going hiking and recommended a lot of wonderful hikes for us. It was a really great experience and exceeded our expectations- all thanks to the staff.

Located at the highest point of Miranda do Douro, the Cabeço do Forte offers scenic views over the historical city center. The unit is a 5-minute drive from the border into neighboring Spain. Very nice hotel. Really clean and big room. Lovely ambience. Breakfast exceptional , wide variety of local products. Not a sweet person, but I have to try local pastries. Really tasty . The owner elderly lady was so cute. Outdoor swimming pool, unfortunately I haven't got time to try..

Staff extremely nice and willing to help. Excellent location and view. Silent rooms. Average buffet breakfast but with good products.

Boasting a rural location close to the Spanish border, this hotel is located in the town of Vimioso and offers guests cozy accommodations. Amazing location: the view is to die for. Great food.
