Particular mentions to Tony who was always ready to help and share a joke and to Lazarus the manager who was so welcoming and informative. The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in

The staff are amazing at Nshongi...super friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I felt like I left with 7 new friends. It is very close to the start of the Rushaga Gorilla Trekking. The rooms are nice.

What a wonderful stay! Gideon and Esther were above and beyond welcoming. The gated house has two rooms with attached bathrooms, along with other rooms I didn't see, but my guide stayed in. They provided a warm, local dinner and great conversation. We had tea together and fresh fruits and juice were provided upon my arrival. Their son came by and was enjoyable to talk to. He is an eco-conservationist and manages a nearby zip line you should check out. They leant me soap and basins for washing my clothes and had clothes lines in the back, surrounded by a growing veggie garden we ate from. They don't have permanent wifi yet, but their son provides a fast hotspot through a phone left overnight. When you meet good, local people during long travels, you feel at home. I hope they are doing well and that more people visiting Kisoro stay in this accommodating homestay!

Providing garden views, Ntebeko Homestay in Kisoro features accommodations and a garden. Housed in a building dating back to 2019, this homestay is 0.9 miles from the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. We had a great night at the homestay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast is served on site and dinner is just a short drive away. Both were delicious. Our host Emily went above and beyond to make our stay better and helped us sort our Gorilla Trek the next day. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mgahinga!

The staff is remarkable. The community involvement is amazing. They go out of the way to help. The food was top notch. Room was good. Shower hot and strong. But really the people make this place.
